One Night to Innovate

Date: Thu.-Fri. December 4 – 5, 2025
Event: 11th edition of One Night to Innovate
Organizer: École nationale des ponts et chaussées and EELISA (FAU)

This year, the projects will be aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations. Each project must address at least one of these 17 goals.

This business creation event encourages students to develop their creativity and entrepreneurial spirit. It is also an opportunity to enhance their skills: working in small groups, they have one night to develop an innovative proposal addressing challenges linked to themes that are central to the School and its partners.

(04.12.25 – 05.12.25)
• 18:30H: Reception – registration
• 19:00H: Opening conference and entrepreneurs’ testimonies
• 19:45H: Project kick-off workshop
• 20:15H: Dinner & team formation
• 21:00H – 06:30H: Collaborative work under the supervision of coaches
• 07:00H – 09:30H: Projects presentations to the jury. Closing ceremony, winner announcements & award ceremony

École nationale des ponts et chaussées and EELISA European University launch the 11th edition of “One Night to Innovate”!
An entrepreneurial challenge for sustainable development!
One single night to step into the shoes of an entrepreneur and work on societal challenges.

After a presentation from an entrepreneur, the students take part in a project launch workshop, the first step in a collaborative project under the guidance of experienced professionals. In the early morning, the projects are presented to a panel of judges made up of members of School, alumni who have become entrepreneurs and recognised professionals, who assess their relevance and viability. Prizes will be awarded to the best teams by the Fondation des Ponts and Fondation Singular Planet, as well as Vinci and L’Oréal, partner companies.

Audience
The competition is open to École nationale des ponts et chaussées’ students, as well as to students from EELISA’s partner universities, Institut Polytechnique de Paris and other institutions in the Paris region, whether they are interested in setting up their own business, already have a project in mind or just want to team up in favor of innovation and entrepreneurship.

Useful information
Whether you’re a novice or have a little experience, join the event and tackle the new generation challenges :
Collaborate on one-night projects, with the option to continue beyond the event at your discretion.
Connect and engage with students from diverse schools and programs.
Sharpen your communication, problem-solving, and creative skills.
